This model represents a micro-scale helical inductor with square coil section, used for LC bandpas filters in micro electromechanical systems. In this model the self-inductance of the microinductor is calculated. Figure shows the electric potential in the inductor and the magnectic flux stream lines. The color of the stream lines represents the magnitude of the magnetic flux. This magnectic flux is largest in the middle of the inductor.
