In automotive engineering, an intake manifold is the part of an engine, which is used to supply the fuel/air mixture to the cylinders. The primary function of the intake manifold is to distribute the combustion mixture to each fuel injector in the cylinder heads. It also works as a mounting for the carburettor, throttle body, fuel injectors and other components of the engine. Considering the design and mounting of the intake manifold, a critical design failure may occur under vibration due to rotating parts of the engine.   In this design a 3D model of Intake manifold has created and modal analysis has performed using COMSOL Solid mechanics module.
