Mode shape analysis of a Vertical wind turbine design

A vertical wind turbine is a type of wind turbine where the axis of rotor shaft placed transverse to the wind. The generator is placed near to ground which makes it easy for mechanical maintenance. In this experiment a vertical wind turbine is designed with vertical blades. Mode shape analysis has performed to predict the different mode shapes with different frequency level in static loading condition. The maximum displacement areas are represented with red colour while minimal with blue under a certain frequency level.
