Dynamic structural analysis of aircraft landing gear using finite element methods
Landing gear is the vital mechanical components of an aircraft. For aircraft, the landing gear supports the craft when it is on the runway, allowing it to take off, land. It needs to provide the support and resist the payload as well as the shock in operating condition. To reduce the shock during landing, it is equipped with shock absorber or dampers. There are different loads acting on landing Gear during its operating condition. Dynamic load & effects are much more critical condition which can lead to structural failure. In this design Eigen frequency analysis has performed to get different mode shapes at different natural frequencies.
