CFD Analysis of Globe Valve for Industrial Application

A valve is a mechanical component that regulates or controls the flow of a fluid (gases, liquids, or slurries) by opening, closing, or partially obstructing the passageways. In an open valve, fluid flows in a direction from higher pressure to lower pressure. Valves has been used in different engineering field, including controlling water for Irrigation, industrial uses for controlling processes, residential use. In this design an anti-cavitation valve design has used to determine the maximum fluid velocity and pressure during its operating condition. In this simulation, water is taken as working fluid to solve the mathematical Navier-Stoke mathematical equation using COMSOL CFD module.
