"Track Based 3D Printer"
This 3D Printer is one type of the Cartesian type 3D Printers which describes the study of a 3D Printer Mechanism Simulation with XYZ Coordinate movements to print the required 3D printing CAD model. In this mechanism the all supports and Extruder assembly will move in X direction on tracks to create side by side layer and only extruder assembly will moves in Y direction from front to back to create a single layer and also it will move in Z direction to create additional layers. The displacements and mechanism simulation are carried out with self weight load condition and mechanism modelling is carried out using Prismatic Joints for the Extruder with Gantry system for YZ axis and whole structure with Tracks system for X axis movements. The maximum displacement areas are represented with red colour while minimal with blue colour. CAD modelling and Analysis are carried out by using Multibody Dynamics simulation software. In this simulation we modelled a 3D printer with 3D printing capability of a simple Square Box.
